What is Thai Massage?
Jivaka Komarabhacca, known as the father of Thai massage, formalized Thai Massage a spiritual tradtion, where the practitioner meditate or prays before each session. This preliminary mediation serves to quite the mind and focus the energy on the task at hand. The practitioner rubs their hands together to induce heat and begins applying pressure to the client's feet, eventually moving upward to the head. The client must wear loose, comfortable attire.
